The 8th Meeting of the Project Board of the UNDP-GCF “De-Risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits” Project Was Held

Discussion on Monitoring, Prevention, and Response to Forest Fire-Prone Situations
Issues related to the monitoring, prevention, and operational response to forest fire-prone situations were discussed at the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA; Vladimir Kirakosyan, Head of the Eco-Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA; and Levon Azizyan, Director of the “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” SNCO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA attended the meeting.

Armenia Launches Initiative to Develop Law on Chemical Substances within the Framework of the “Green Agenda Armenia” Project, Funded by Sweden
Today, the Ministry of Environment of the RA, in cooperation with the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and the Acopian Center for the Environmental of the American University of Armenia (AUA), launched a new initiative to develop Armenia’s first-ever Law “On Chemical Substances.”
