Within the framework of the 16th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, which is taking place in Saudi Arabia, Hakob Simidyan, Minister of Environment of the RA had a bilateral meeting with Niels Annen, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) of the Federal Republic of Germany.

As the host country of the next Biodiversity Conference, the delegation led by Hakob Simidyan, Minister of Environment met with Astrid Schumacher, Executive Secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

Within the framework of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, held in Saudi Arabia, Hakob Simidyan, Minister of Environment of the RA and Hambardzum Matevosyan, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of the RA participated in the high-level ministerial dialogues (Leaders Summit).
