The 1st meeting of the Organizing and Conducting Committee for the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, established by the Prime Minister's decision, took place under the leadership of Hambardzum Matevosyan, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister.

The process of implementing the program of joint control measures implemented during the whitefish spawning period in Lake Sevan, led by Minister Hakob Simidyan, was discussed with the participation of representatives of the participating departments.

The 22nd meeting of the inter-ministerial Steering Committee of the National Policy Dialogue on water issues in Armenia took place which is an important step towards water policy reform and the development of Armenia's water strategy. During the meeting, issues of socio-economic development and climate change resilience were discussed, as well as the experience of joint water resources monitoring between Armenia and Georgia.
