During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing preparatory work for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17).

Vahe Davtyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, together with representatives of the Ministry, participated in a working meeting dedicated to reviewing the weekly progress of the reconstruction and organizational works at the “Meridian” Expo Center.

Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan presented the 2026 budget allocations and planned programs of the Ministry of Environment of the RA at a joint session of the Standing Committees on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection, and Financial- Credit and Budgetary Issues.
