Water resources
In 2019, the water abstraction comprised 2 865.4 mln. cub. m (excluding HPSs), water use – 2 123.7 mln. cub. m (87.3% - agriculture, fish breeding and forestry, 6.7% - industry, communal and construction, 6.0% - drinking). Water losses during transit comprised 741.7 mln. cub. m or 25.9% of water abstraction. In 2019 the volume of discharged waste water comprised 752.7mln. cub. m.

In 2018, the water abstraction comprised 2 714.4mln.cub.m, water use – 1 926.5mln.cub.m (83.1% – agriculture, fish breeding and forestry, 7.3% – industry, communal and construction, 9.6% – drinking). Water losses during transit comprised 787.9mln.cub.m or 29.0% of water abstraction. In 2018 the volume of discharged waste water comprised 612.1mln.cub.m.
In 2017, the water abstraction comprised 2 865.4 mln. cub. m, water use – 2 040.0 mln. cub. m (83.7% - agriculture, fish breeding and forestry, 11% - industry, communal and construction, 5.3% - drinking). Water losses during transit comprised 825.4 mln. cub. m or 28.8% of water abstraction. In 2017 the volume of discharged waste water comprised 550.8 mln. cub. m.
