The project "Biodiversity and sustainable local development in Armenia" was launched
Unprecedented grant support to the Environment sector. "Biodiversity and sustainable local development in Armenia" project was launched.
Today, at the Ministry of Environment, Minister Hakob Simidyan and Frank Moerschl, senior portfolio manager of German Reconstruction Loans Bank (KfW) projects, signed the agreement announcing the launch of the "Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Armenia" project.
Welcoming the start of the project and congratulating the partners on the signing of the contract developed as a result of the previous long work, the minister expressed hope that the results of the project will be visible in the near future.

Under the leadership of Environment Minister Hakob Simidyan, together with Deputy Ministers Aram Meymaryan and Tigran Gabrielyan, clean-up work was carried out on the territory of the Hrazdan Gorge within the framework of the national clean-up day.
The staff of the Ministry of Environment, the Center for Hydrometeorology and Motorization, the state institution "Office for the Implementation of Environmental Programs" headed by Minister Hakob Simidyan, together with Deputy Ministers Aram Meymaryan and Tigran Gabrielyan, carried out work on cleaning the territory of the Hrazdan Gorge within the framework of the national clean-up day

The Food and Agriculture Organization unites interested structures to launch a program to combat land degradation in the Syunik region
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in cooperation with the Office for the Implementation of Environmental Programs of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, held a seminar in Goris, officially launching a program in the Syunik region that contributes to a comprehensive solution to the problem of land degradation in Armenia.
