Rights-Based Climate Adaptation in Armenia
The final event of the “Right-Based Climate Adaptation in Armenia and Georgia” project was held. Within the framework of the project, the Armenian team, using the toolkit developed by Lund University and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute in Sweden, prepared a draft report entitled “Promoting Right-Based Climate Adaptation in the Water Sector of the Armenian Economy: The Right to Water”.

Discussions continued on the fiscal and expenditure framework of the 2026-2028 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) of the Republic of Armenia under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA also participated in the discussion.

Workshop On the Reform of Environmental Fees and Environmental Taxes
A high-level workshop was held on the reform of environmental fees for water use and environmental taxes on hazardous substances discharged into water bodies. The event was organized within the framework of the “EU4Green Recovery” programme, launched in January 2025 and funded by the European Union.
