Water level of rivers in Armenia as of 08:00 p.m.
As of 08:00 p.m. on May 27, 2024, in the basins of the Debed and Aghstev rivers, a decrease in water levels was observed compared to the water levels observed at 08:00 a.m. By 25 cm at Ayrum observation point of the Debed River, by 7 cm in the Dzoraget River, by 10 cm in the Pambak River, by 48 cm in the Tashir River.

As of 08:00 a.m. on May 27, 2024, a decrease in water levels was observed in the basins of the Debed and Aghstev rivers, compared to the water levels observed at 08:00 a.m. on May 26, 2024. By 105 cm at Ayrum observation point in the Debed River, by 70 cm in the Dzoraget River, by 50 cm in the Pambak River, by 57 cm in the Tashir River.

An operational headquarters was established to manage the emergency caused by the floods
As a result of torrential rains in Lori and Tavush provinces, Yerevan, as well as the overflowing of the Debed, Aghstev, Tashir rivers, in order to manage the emergency caused by the floods, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan decided to form an operational headquarters under the leadership of Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures. Aram Meimaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment is a member of the interdepartmental working group.
