The Ministry of Environment Hosted Nonhlanhla Zindela, Green Climate Fund Deputy Director for Country Cooperation and Maxim Surkov, Regional Manager for Eastern Europe and Central Asia
The Ministry of Environment is the national authorized body of the Green Climate Fund in Armenia since May 2017.
In December 2018, the Main Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) was signed, the purpose of which is to protect the fund's assets in Armenia and ensure the effective cooperation.
