Workshop on Effective Management of Chemicals and Waste
On August 15, the introductory seminar of the project "Development of the national capacities of the Republic of Armenia in the field of effective management of chemical substances and waste in order to implement the conventions of Stockholm, Basel, Rotterdam, Minamata and strategic approaches to the international management of chemicals /SAICM" was held, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Environment Tigran Gabrielyan, Director of "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO ("Hayhydromet" SNCO) Levon Azizyan, national coordinator of the project, legal advisor of the Ministry of Environment Anahit Alexandryan, members of the project management board and specialists related to the project field.

A fire is observed in the waterfall forest park area
An alarm was received that there is a fire in the area Jrvej Antarpark. 1 mine combat unit from the 9th and 11th Fire-rescue squad and the Division of organization of firefighting and rescue operations of Yerevan Rescue Department duty group went to the scene of the incident.
