The final workshop of the activity "Development of 2024-2030 Strategy for Restoration of Lake Sevan Ecosystem" took place
Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of the Environment of the RA, Frank Hess, Head of Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, and Konstantin Sokulsky, Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP Armenia made opening remarks at the workshop. The event was also attended by representatives of state institutions dealing with the regulation of the sector, representatives of scientific, international and non-governmental organizations.

From June 3rd to 7th, 2024 the "Natural Capital" symposium was held at Stanford University of the United States of America, in which Aram Meimaryan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Paruyr Simonyan, Advisor to the Minister and Voskehat Grigoryan, Head of Specially Protected Areas and Biodiversity Policy Department, Alexander Arakelyan, Head of the Armenian Component of NatCap and Vardan Karapetyan, Senior Project Officer at ADB participated.
