12 April 2021 By the draft decree of the government, the list of rivers prohibited for the construction of small hydropower plants was defined "The rejection of applications for water use permits for newly constructed small hydropower plants envisaged on defining the list of rivers which are registered in the Red Book of the Republic of Armenia or are typical of endemic fish spawning habitats or 40% and more overloaded with diversion pipes”; by the draft decree of the government, the list of rivers prohibited for the construction of small hydropower plants was defined.
