Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan conducted a working visit to "Vayots Dzor Forestry" branch of "Armforest" SNCO
The Minister held a working consultation with the head of the branch and the workers at the administrative office of the forestry branch.
The meeting was attended by Vayots Dzor Region Governor Ararat Grigoryan, Acting Chairman of the Committee of Forest of the Ministry of Environment Artur Petrosyan, Acting Director of "ArmForest" SNCO Pavel Tsugunyan, Head of "Vayots Dzor Forestry" branch of "ArmForest" SNCO.

Summing up “Support Program for Protected Areas-Armenia” (SPPA-A) completed grant project
Under the 3-rd stage of the SPPA-A Small Grants Component (SGC), "Strong Future" social NGO which won the grant, has implemented an energy saving and energy efficiency project in Syunik Regional Psychiatric- Neurological Dispensary, meanwhile ensuring the financial stability of the dispensary.

Embarks on a new series of educational events on "LET'S BE AWARE, PROTECT OZONE LAYER"
The Ministry of Environment's Ozone Program in colloboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and ''Environment and Health'' NGO, launch a series of educational events on "LET'S BE AWARE, PROTECT OZONE LAYER", which will facilitate the pupils of schools in Yerevan and in regions to get acquainted with the environmental problem of ozone depletion in detail, to have a direct role in the restoration of the ozone layer.

Survey in the territory of Azat reservoir
The specialized subdivisions of the Ministry of Environment have studied the news on "Azat reservoir - completely in the fishing nets" environmental violation voiced by the Facebook user, and by the instruction of the Deputy Minister of Environment a relevent letter was sent to the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources to study the case in detail, to reveal the circumstances, thus assuming corresponding measures.
