During the war, the Azerbaijani armed forces used internationally banned cluster munitions, weapons containing white phosphorus or termite substances against the people of Artsakh. Similar actions caused irreparable damage to the environment, ranging from large-scale wildfires to poisoning of air, soil, water, flora and fauna.

Dear colleagues and users, we inform that the new official website of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia is ready, it is being reloaded and it will be activated in a few days.The new official website has a more flexible toolkit, is more practical and efficient in terms of receiving information. In the context of e-government policy, it is also envisaged to implement some services delivered within the framework of the Ministry’s functions through the relevant platform/s of the new official website.

The National Assembly approved the master agreement between "The Green Climate Fund and the Government of the Republic of Armenia"
Today Deputy Minister of Environment Tigran Simonyan submitted the draft law on approving the master agreement between "The Green Climate Fund and the Government of the Republic of Armenia" to the parliament.
