Young environmentalists presented the initiative "0 plastic" to the Deputy Minister. The aim of the initiative is to reduce the number of plastic bottles, reduce air pollution and recycle plastic bottles.
The Deputy Minister greeted the students and thanked them for their initiative.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environment, "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO, "Armenian Women for Health and Healthy Environment", as well as representatives of other interested departments.

The widespread use of plastic bags and pockets in the trade and service sectors in the country has led to environmental problems.
The average period of use of plastic bags up to 50 microns thick is 10-15 minutes, and its decomposition in nature takes more than 400 years.
