Today at the Ministry of Environment chaired by Minister Hakob Simidyan, an extended meeting was held with the participation of representatives of Sevan National Park, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, RA Police, the Administration of Gegharkunik Region, Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, Yerevan Municipality to summarize The first ten days of the cooperation program of events.

During the whole time, employees of the branches of the Sevan National Park SNCO and the Rapid Response Department and representatives of the departments advocating for the program, together with fishermen, conducted explanatory work to prevent cases of illegal fishing, the removal of fins from coastal areas.
During the events, together with the employees of the Sevan National Park, the police and the BTM, 3 immovable control points were installed - at the Karchakhbyur, Chambarak, Sevan Wall security points.
In the period from December 20 to December 28, 11 cases of sale and transportation of whitefish were registered, as a result of which 895 whitefish were seized.
On December 25 and 28, the ship took a tour of Lake Sevan, as a result of which 1 fishing nets were removed from the lake on December 25, and 54 fishing nets on December 28.
About 220 floating vehicles were removed from the coastal areas of Lake Sevan.
