The first international summit on wildlife protection and national parks in Eurasia and Eastern Europe was held on November 7-9 in Borjomi, Georgia.
The summit, which was attended by more than a hundred delegates from around twenty countries, was an important platform for the discussion of important issues related to wildlife conservation, including key policy issues related to protected area management, biodiversity conservation, forests, and ecotourism.
