WWF-Armenia provided fire-fighting and first aid supplies to Sevan National Park to enhance the fire-fighting capabilities of the Eco-Patrol Service under the Ministry of Environment of the RA.
The Eco-Patrol Service received 140 of each of the following items:

• First aid kits
• Roadblock signs
• Fire extinguishers

The support was provided as part of the second component of the "Conservation and Sustainable Management of Land Resources and High Value Ecosystems in Lake Sevan Basin for Multiple Benefits" project.
The objective of this component is to support the National Park and the Eco-Patrol Service in the conservation of the Lake Sevan basin through capacity building. The support will be ongoing.
Under the UNDP oversight, the project is jointly implemented by the “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” of the Ministry of Environment of the RA and the World Wide Fund for Nature Armenia (WWF Armenia), funded by the Global Environmental Facility (GEF).
