Vahe Davtyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, together with representatives of the Ministry, participated in a working meeting dedicated to reviewing the weekly progress of the reconstruction and organizational works at the “Meridian” Expo Center.
By a decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, and as a result of the redistribution of the 2025 state budget, 5,775,000,000 drams have been allocated for the implementation of renovation, construction, and improvement works at the “Meridian” Expo Center. The goal of the program is to bring the entire area into full compliance with the requirements for hosting the upcoming high-level Conference.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the current project management report, discussed the progress of construction and infrastructure works, the issues being addressed, and the next steps to be taken.
Deputy Minister Vahe Davtyan and the Minister’s Advisor answered the questions of the participants and presented updates on cooperation with the Secretariat of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, as well as on the ongoing preparatory activities.
