Today at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, a training on "Inspection of Buildings for Detection of Asbestos-Containing Materials" was held within the scope of the "De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits " program. 
The methods of detection and identification of asbestos-containing materials, management risks, waste treatment and disposal issues were presented during the training.
Speakers talked about international experience, legislative regulations and international obligations of Armenia.
"Environmental Projects Implementation Unit" SA of the Ministry of Environment is the component implementation partner of the "Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) system creation and knowledge management in the building sector" program.
