The national workshop for the presentation and ratification of the grant programme "Fueling Green Recovery in Armenia – Advancing Forest Infrastructure and Creating Sustainable Jobs for Rural Communities," organized by the "Environmental Program Implementation Unit" SA, was held.
The "Environmental Program Implementation Unit" SA of the Ministry of Environment of the RA (EPIU SA) has engaged the British "E Co. Ltd" and the Armenian “ADWISE Consulting” companies to develop a funding proposal for the Simplified Approval Process (SAP) of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the "Fueling Green Recovery in Armenia – Advancing Forest Infrastructure and Creating Sustainable Jobs for Rural Communities" programme.
Today, the national workshop for the presentation and ratification of the program was held, and Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, heads of ministry-affiliated structures, and representatives from international and non-governmental organizations participated in it.
The goal of the workshop was to gather feedback on the program's outcomes, activities, and their effectiveness, aiming to align the program's content with the actual needs of forest sector stakeholders in Armenia.
