A Memorandum of Understanding on "Cooperation within the framework of the protection of state forests, forest lands and specially protected nature areas of the Republic of Armenia" was signed between the Eco-Patrol Service of the Ministry of Environment and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets ​​(FPWC).
According to the memorandum, the Foundation for the FPWC will support the Eco-Patrol Service of the Ministry of Environment of the RA by providing support in understanding the operation of technical tools used to protect state forests, forest lands, and specially protected nature areas in Armenia. This includes offering software, analyzing data from technical tools, and helping manage and utilize this information effectively.
The cooperation will also focus on combating illegal hunting, illegal logging, and preventing wildfires.
