Tigran Gabrielyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA met with Hristo Krusharski, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Stroyproject LLC. Levon Azizyan, Director of the “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” SNCO of the Ministry of Environment of the RA also attended the meeting.
Stroyproject is one of the leading organizations specializing in active hail protection across Eastern Europe and Latin America.
The first meeting with representatives of the organization was held on December 12, 2024, at the “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” SNCO of the Ministry of Environment of the RA. Following the agreement reached during the meeting, Stroyproject LLC was provided with the necessary information to present its hail protection methods—rocket, aircraft, and generator technologies—for implementation in Armenia.
The proposal was expected to include comprehensive and precise information on the number and locations of rocket launchers and generators across Armenia, the required number of aircraft, the financial resources necessary for their maintenance and operation, as well as an assessment of their economic efficiency.
At the meeting, Hristo Krusharski presented the prepared proposal to Tigran Gabrielyan. The technical proposal outlines various hail protection methods, including aircraft, Bulgarian-made rockets, and generators. According to the proposal, the most effective approach for Armenia would be a combination of aircraft and generator-based hail protection measures.
