The workshop was held at the Ministry of Environment of the RA as part of the "Rights-Based Climate Adaptation in Armenia and Georgia" course organized by Lund University, Kingdom of Sweden.
Representatives of the Lund University Armenia Mission Team from the Kingdom of Sweden attended the meeting at the invitation of the heads of the relevant departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, the discussion focused on the effective implementation of local, regional, and national environmental policies, public participation mechanisms, and the adoption of innovative methods for waste management and air pollution reduction. The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session to exchange experiences.
As part of the workshop, representatives from Lund University also visited the "Reserve Park Complex" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment. During the visit, they discussed the environmental issues of the "Jrvezh" forest park and explored ways to develop ecotourism. The meeting concluded with a tour of the forest park.
