On December 8, 2019, the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham Armenia) hosted Kristina Kvien, USA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, who delivered a political address. In her remarks, Ambassador Kvien presented the strategic directions and priorities aimed at promoting bilateral economic cooperation and supporting institutional development.
Ambassador Kvien highlighted the strengthening of economic ties between the USA and Armenia, as well as the progress achieved following the Peace Summit held at the White House on August 8. She emphasized the private sector’s important role in advancing Armenia’s economic modernization and outlined opportunities for further cooperation with the American business community.
The event brought together representatives of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the National Assembly, along with delegates from diplomatic missions and international organizations.
The official address was followed by a question-and-answer session. The discussion focused on investment promotion, the development of bilateral economic and trade relations, and prospects for sectoral cooperation.
