The draft order of the Minister of Environment "On Approving the Guidelines for Strategic Environment Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment" was discussed with representatives of non-governmental organizations and environmentalists.
The draft was developed by the Ministry of Environment. It is already in the circulation stage, it was published for public discussion from July 15 to July 30 of this year on the “Unified Website for Publication of Legal Acts’ Drafts” (e-draft).
The draft was developed based on the requirements of paragraph 12 of the appendix to the decision N866-Ա "On Approving the List of Measures Ensuring the Implementation of the Law of the RA" on amending the law "On Environmental Impact Assessment and Expertise."

- The process of the main stages of the EIA, EIA report, public participation, implementation methods, and monitoring were described in the EIA guideline.
- The EIA and SEA implementation tools, including questionnaires, forms, assessment charts, etc. are presented in the guidelines.
During the discussion held at the Aarhus office in Yerevan, Vahram Hovhannisyan and Meri Harutyunyan, Chief Specialists of the Strategic Policy Department of the Ministry of Environment, presented the guideline and answered the questions of the discussion participants through a question-and-answer session.
