“The need to make additions and changes to the Law of the RA on "Lake Sevan" arose during the implementation phase of one of the provisions of the Law”, said Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, during November 14 NA session.
Correspondingly, according to the Deputy Minister, the development of the annual plan is part of the budget process of our country, and every year, according to the established procedure, the draft of the annual plan for the coming year is submitted to the Government for consideration within the framework of that process, until the first ten days of September.
The annual plan is approved by the relevant decision of the Government, after which the Government submits it to the National Assembly as part of the draft state budget. The National Assembly approves the state budget. However, the annual plan of Part 3 of Article 13 of the Law also includes the "Annual maximum quantities of production and industrial catch of Lake Sevan and its drainage basin bioresources, including fish and crayfish, and industrial quality characteristics on a monthly basis" measure.
