The draft law on Making Amendments to the Law “On Specially Protected Nature Areas” was debated in the second reading at an extraordinary sitting of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection.
There were no written proposals during the period from the first to the second reading. This was reported by Hakob Simidyan, Minister of Environment of the RA. The regulation concerns the possibility of obtaining a water use permit in Khosrov Forest State Reserve, if the purpose of the water use is drinking or irrigation water and there is no alternative in the area.
The issue was endorsed by the Committee.
