Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, received the delegation of the World Bank and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), which visited Armenia as part of the technical assistance mission under the “RESILAND: Armenia Resilient Landscapes” project.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of the “RESILAND: Armenia Resilient Landscapes” project, the initiatives implemented to date, and the upcoming actions aimed at promoting effective natural resource management, enhancing landscape resilience, and preserving ecosystems.
Deputy Minister Mkrtchyan highlighted the importance of the support provided by international partners within the framework of reforms and programs implemented in the environmental sector, emphasizing that such cooperation enables the achievement of systemic and long-term results. In response, the partners highly appreciated the efforts of the Ministry and the program implementation team, expressing their readiness to continue effective cooperation and support Armenia’s environmental priorities.
