Astrid Schomaker, Executive Secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, met with ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Armenia, representatives from embassies and representatives of international organizations.
As the host country of the next UN Conference on Biological Diversity, the Republic of Armenia is hosting a delegation led by Astrid Schomaker, Executive Secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.
Ms. Schomaker was briefed on the significance of COP17, discussed key needs, the scope of possible cooperation with international partners, and further steps.
