Within the framework of spring tree planting, "Sevan National Park" SNCO carried out afforestation works in Daranak section of the national park.
The afforestation works were carried out on an area of 5 hectares, for which around 10,000 saplings were used.
Poplar saplings grown in Martuni nursery of Sevan National Park and ash and acacia saplings obtained from natural regrowth from the territory of the national park were used as planting material.
This tree planting is also a part of the comprehensive fight against the drying of pine trees in the national park.
