Human-Wildlife Conflict: A Thematic Event was held at the Wildlife Rescue Center within the framework of International Biodiversity Week
As part of the International Biodiversity Week events, a regular meeting was held on May 19 at the Wildlife Rescue Center (WRC), aimed at emphasizing the urgency of human-wildlife conflict and exploring potential pathways for collaborative solutions.
Tigran Gabrielyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA; Vigen Chilingaryan, Acting Director of the “Armforest” SNCO; as well as representatives from the Ministry of Environment of the RA, the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body of the RA, the Eco-Patrol Service, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) attended the event. Members of the 'Human-Wildlife Conflict' Working Group, who are actively engaged in the development and implementation of policies addressing this issue, were also invited.
