A regional workshop was held in Yerevan, bringing together key stakeholders from the forest sector of the Eastern Partnership countries.
The workshop aimed to promote the cooperation among the Eastern Partnership countries and support their efforts to prevent illegal logging, strengthen forest governance systems, and promote sustainable forestry in line with the requirements of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
The event served as a platform for dialogue and the exchange of experience among representatives of Eastern Partnership countries, EU institutions, international organizations, and the private sector. Participants discussed policy, legal, and technical approaches aimed at improving forest management systems and aligning them with international standards.
The workshop brought together representatives from relevant ministries, forestry agencies, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations of the Eastern Partnership countries, as well as representatives of the European Union and international partner organizations.
