Acting Minister of Environment Vahe Jilavyan is on a working visit to Vayots Dzor region. The objective of the working visit is to get acquainted with the problems related to the ecological flow of small hydropower plants (SHPPs) operating along Yeghegis River. Vahe Jilavyan also paid a visit to Arpa-Sevan CJSC, thus discussing the existing problems and the ways to solve thereof with the head of the relevant subdivision of the Ministry of Environment and the company’s representatives.   Acting Minister Vahe Jilavyan considered a number of issues related to water use permits issued to small hydropower plants (SHPPs) in the river section with the specialists.  Note, that the water use permits of all SHPPs operating along Yeghegis River are presently reviewed.
