Invitation to be included in the Council of the Aarhus Center of the Ministry of Environment "Centre of Hydrometeorology and Monitoring" SNCO
The Ministry of Environment announces a competition for inclusion in the board of the Aarhus Center (hereinafter referred to as the Aarhus Center) of the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO.
3 of the 5 members of the Council must be representatives of the public sector.
Representatives of non-governmental organizations, initiatives or other interested persons, whose nature of activity coincides with the main directions of the Aarhus Center's activities, who have at least 5 years of professional experience in the fields of environmental protection or eco-law (have carried out or participated in environmental dissemination of information, public participation in decision-making related to the environment, development of capacities in the field of green economy, protection of rights related to environmental issues, implementation of programs related to the fields of environmental education, expert work, have publications related to the field, cooperated with international organizations on environmental protection issues) and whose participation in the work can contribute to the more effective implementation of the tasks and goals set before the council.
To participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit the following documents:
letter of interest
the state registration number of the organization's charter (if you represent an organization),
a brief reference on the activities carried out in the field in the last 5 years.
Preference to be included in the Council will be given to the organization or person whose activity is most closely related to the goals of the Aarhus Center and the functions performed by the latter.
The involvement of youth and representatives of ethnic minorities is encouraged. Previous participation in the activities of Aarhus Centers will be considered an advantage.
Applications must be submitted by from October 9 to October 13 at 12:00, to the Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Environment at press@env.am.
