The session of the Management Board of the "Transition to Electric Mobility in Armenia" grant programme was held.
During the board session, the current outcomes of the project, the actions undertaken, and the schedule of upcoming activities were presented.
Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment, opened the session, welcomed the board members, and highlighted the strategic significance of the programme: “Electric mobility is not only a means of modernizing the transport sector, but also a vital step toward achieving our country’s climate goals.”
During the session, the results achieved across the programme’s three main components were presented.
Liana Nersisyan, Project Manager, noted that the programme will continue its activities until September 2025, ensuring the sustainable integration of electric mobility into the state policy of the Republic of Armenia.
