The legislative regulation will establish financial assistance as a social guarantee for Eco-Patrol Service employees.
The Parliament held the second reading of the draft “On Making Amendments to the Law on Eco-Patrol Service.”
The draft was presented by Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA.
The draft law establishes social guarantees for Eco-Patrol employees in cases where they are recognized as disabled while performing their duties, and provides for a lump-sum payment to a close relative in the event of the employee’s death.
According to the regulation, Eco-Patrol Service employees will exercise their powers after being appointed through a competitive selection process in accordance with the procedure established by law, but no later than January 1, 2027
