The draft proposes to amend the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 1308-n of November 12, 2009, as a result of which the materials included in the list of hydrofluorocarbons approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 1368-n of August 20, 2020, will not be considered military goods, since they are used in various industries (in particular, in the food industry), cooling systems, with their technical characteristics, according to their structural characteristics, they are not specially designed and are not intended for military use. As a result, there will be no need for the licensing authority to obtain a conclusion on the compliance of the import and (or) export of materials included in the list of hydrofluorocarbons approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 1368-n of August 20, 2020.
As a result of the adoption of the draft, the effectiveness of legal regulations enshrined in the current domestic legislation and the improvement of the business environment aimed at improving law enforcement practice, increasing the effectiveness of the law enforcement officer and, most importantly, improving the conditions of economic activity of economic entities, which follows from the basic principles and objectives of public services.
The regulation will allow economic entities importing the above-mentioned materials to carry out their economic activities without additional obstacles, will contribute to reducing the workload of the customs service and more effective implementation of this type of public service, as well as improving the business environment in the Republic of Armenia.
