The 1st meeting of the Organizing and Conducting Committee for the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, established by the Prime Minister's decision, took place under the leadership of Hambardzum Matevosyan, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister.
At the meeting of the Committee, key issues of organizing COP 17, that will be held in Armenia, were discussed in terms of the content and technical organization of the events.
The Committee outlined the sequence of steps for the organization of COP 17, listed the existing visible and foreseeable problems, as well as planned the Committee's upcoming work. During the Committee's session, the necessary recommendations were formulated.
