On October 24, as a result of the strict control measures carried out by the special forces of the "Sevan" National Park, 135 illegal crab hunters were taken out of the lake and confiscated from the coastal areas near the Norashen settlement, and 152 live crabs were returned to the lake.
Let's remind that according to the decision of the Government, only industrial hunting of whitefish is allowed in Lake Sevan during the specified period and only in the quantities allowed by the signed contract, and the permitted quantities of crab hunting are not defined.
The hunting tools taken out of the lake are on the list of prohibited hunting tools.
