The initial meeting-press conference of the EU-funded REC Caucasus  “Joint Monitoring for Environmental Protection in BSB countries”  took place, in the course of which  the Deputy Minister of MoE Anna Mazmanyan, as well as Acting Director of "HMC" SNCO Levon Azizyan made opening remarks.
The overall project objective is to contribute to increasing the level of availability of cross-border compatible environmental monitoring data and information in national parks and specially protected areas of nature in BSB.
The project includes “Dilijan” national park (Armenia), Strandzha Nature Park  (Bulgaria), Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (Romania), and  Kolkheti National Park (Georgia).
