“Kitelab” science communication company, the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), and the Women in Climate and Energy (WiCE) NGO, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, are joining forces to organize the “AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature” national hackathon in preparation for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be held in Armenia in 2026.
New times require new solutions. The hackathon will bring together young scientists, ecologists, designers, entrepreneurs, and artificial intelligence to collaborate on biodiversity monitoring, ecosystem protection, climate risk assessment, sustainable agricultural practices, and community engagement.
Individuals with relevant expertise or a strong commitment to contributing positively to the field, as well as groups formed by academic, public, or private institutions—or by interested individuals—are invited to apply.
Applications from both individuals and groups will be accepted until September 17, 2025.
