INFORMATION: Water level of rivers in Armenia as of 08:00 a.m. on May 27

As of 08:00 a.m. on May 27, 2024, a decrease in water levels was observed in the basins of the Debed and Aghstev rivers, compared to the water levels observed at 08:00 a.m. on May 26, 2024. By 105 cm at Ayrum observation point in the Debed River, by 70 cm in the Dzoraget River, by 50 cm in the Pambak River, by 57 cm in the Tashir River.
As of 08:00 a.m. on May 27, 2024, the water level at Dilijan observation point of Aghstev river basin has decreased by 50 cm compared to the level observed at 08:00 a.m. on May 26.
As of 08:00 a.m. on May 27, the water level at Ijevan observation point of the Aghstev River increased by 35 cm compared to the level observed at 08:00 a.m. on May 26, but decreased by 30 cm compared to the level observed at 08:00 p.m. on May 26.
The water level observed at 08:00 a.m. on May 27, 2024 in Kirants river basin has decreased by 125 cm compared to the level at 08:00 a.m. on May 26.
As for the amount of precipitation, on the afternoon of May 25 and the night of May 26, 40-54 mm of rain was observed in Lori and Tavush, and on the afternoon of May 26 and the night of May 27, the amount of precipitation was 2-7 mm, which is 38-47 mm less than the amount of precipitation observed the previous day.
