Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, received Hakob Hakobyan, Co-founder of the “Startup Armenia” Scientific-Educational Foundation, and the representatives of the “Sevan Startup Summit”. During the meeting, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, in particular initiatives aimed at the development and strengthening of the startup environment in Armenia.
The discussion also touched upon the organizational and preparatory work for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP17). The parties discussed the possibility of holding joint events within the framework of the conference, in collaboration with the “Startup Armenia” Foundation.
The Minister emphasized that such international platforms should serve not only organizational purposes but also as an opportunity to engage innovative youth and entrepreneurs and showcase their potential. The parties agreed to continue discussions and establish a clear agenda to further deepen their cooperation.
