"Armhydromet"  SNCO of the Ministry of Environment informs that, due to the passage of a cold atmospheric front from the Black Sea regions, precipitation in the form of snow at heights of 2000 m above sea level was observed in the entire territory of the republic last night and this morning.
Snow fell in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor high-altitude settlements, 5-10 cm high snow cover was formed in some areas. At the moment, precipitation continues in Vayots Dzor and Syunik, but in the afternoon to the evening, precipitation-free weather will be established throughout the republic. There is especially a lot of snow in Vorotan Pass, in the area called Zanger, which is also accompanied by a weak blizzard.
On November 18, weather without precipitation is expected in the entire territory of the republic, on the 19th in some regions, in the afternoon of the 20th and on the night of the 21st, precipitation is expected again in most regions, in the form of snow in the mountainous zone.
On November 21, in the afternoon, a pause in precipitation is predicted again. The air temperature will drop by another 5-7 degrees in the afternoon of November 20 and the night of November 21.
