The Ministry of Environment's Ozone Program in colloboration  with  the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and ''Environment and Health'' NGO, launch a series of educational events on "LET'S BE AWARE, PROTECT OZONE LAYER", which will facilitate the  pupils of schools in Yerevan and in regions to get acquainted with the environmental problem of ozone depletion in detail, to have a direct role in the restoration of the ozone layer.
The objective of the events is to raise the level of knowledge about ozone depletion among pupils in the 7-11th grades of schools in Yerevan and in regions, to upgrade  them with information and skills, and to encourage the involvement of young people in solving this global environmental challenge.
The series of educational events will take place in two phases:

Implementation of remote learning courses dedicated to the depletion and the  preservation of the ozone layer (April-May, 2021).
Holding competitions  of "Life without Ozone Layer" video films,  organizing a summer camp (June-July, 2021).
The courses will be conducted remotely by organizing zoom webinars, and a summer camp will be organized for the schoolchildren and their teachers who have passed the semi-finals of the competition.
