Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia participated in the launch ceremony of the Syunik Regional Department of the Eco-Patrol Service of the Ministry of Environment of the RA.
The Prime Minister delivered a speech, addressed the representatives of the legislative, executive, government, local self-government bodies, employees from the Eco-Patrol Service, and residents of Kapan present at the event. He congratulated them on the launch of the Eco-Patrol Service, and noted: 
“We have been discussing this reform—the establishment of this new institution, for several years. And now, it has become a reality in Syunik Region. I believe this is a very important event. I want to emphasize that the changes and reforms we are implementing are, first and foremost, about a shift in attitude. This is a shift in attitude towards our environment, the state, and state institutions.”
