On May 1, in Geneva, within the framework of the 49th Session of the Working Group on the UN Universal Periodic Review (UPR), the discussion on Armenia’s National Report for the Fourth Cycle was held.
During the session, the delegation of Armenia presented a comprehensive report of the implementation of recommendations received during the previous review cycle.
Aram Meymaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, also delivered a speech in which he addressed the interdependence between the environment and human rights. He emphasized that Armenia recognizes the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment as a fundamental human right—essential for a dignified life, health, and well-being.
