Deputy Environment Ministers Aram Meymaryan and Tigran Gabrielyan received the advisory mission of the World Bank

Deputy Environment Ministers Aram Meymaryan and Tigran Gabrielyan received a World Bank advisory mission to discuss the country's climate and development report.
The main objectives of the mission continue to be to inform the Government and other stakeholders about the diagnosis of the EHRC, a new key country of the World Bank, which assesses the impact of climate change and climate policy on the final development outcomes and proposes policies and investments to achieve low-carbon and sustainable development, as well as the opportunity to receive feedback on priorities, as well as on the current and planned analysis, policy and investments, which can help shape the orientation and end results of CEDR.
The Climate and Earth Development Report (CEDR) reflects the interaction between development (including poverty reduction, growth, inequality), climate change and climate policy:
CEDR is studying.
- how climate change and the global abandonment of hydrocarbons can affect the development paths and priorities of the country and
- potential directions of the country's actions to counteract, adapt and mitigate the consequences for improving development outcomes:
- identifies political and investment priorities for the next 5 years.
