Due to the penetration of a powerful cyclone from the west, as predicted, on the afternoon of November 20 and the night of the 21st, heavy rainfall was observed in the entire territory of the republic.
At altitudes of 1500m and above sea level, precipitation was observed in the form of snow, accompanied by snow in a number of regions.
The height of the snow cover in the mountainous regions of the republic currently ranges from 10 to 20 cm. It is still snowing in some parts of Vayots Dzor and Syunik, but from the afternoon to the evening, there will be no precipitation in the entire territory of the republic, which will last until November 25 inclusive.
As a result of the simplification of the weather, the air temperature will drop by another 4-5 degrees tonight, 0...-2 degrees cold in the Ararat valley and Yerevan, no significant temperature change is expected in the next 5 days.
