From the first moment of declaring martial law, tens of thousands of Armenian citizens had expressed willingness to enlist and recruit into the RA Armed Forces. Shortly afterwards, several dozen workers of the top management of the Ministry of Environment and its subdivisions were drafted into the RA Armed Forces. The majority of the conscripts are the employees of “ArmForest” SNCO. Taking into consideration their own security requirements, the names are not published. The salaries of conscripts will continue to be transferred throughout the service in accordance with the law. The entire staff of the Ministry of Environment expresses its support to our colleagues, their families, who were drafted from the Ministry to the National Army, as well as to all our compatriots defending the Homeland in Artsakh. The Ministry of Environment continues its work in accordance with the conditions of martial law. All the functions within the powers of the ME are performed in the manner prescribed by law.
