Green Climate Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) was established in 2015, as an operating entity of the financial mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the fundamental financing body for climate change mitigation and adaptation mechanisms.

On the initiative of the Ministry of Nature Protection, the ban on single-use plastic was initiated in Armenia.
The Ministry of Nature Protection invites representatives of non-governmental organizations engaged in the sphere of environmental protection to discuss the issues over prohibiting single-use plastic within the scopes of the launched events.

Single use plastic banning initiative starts from the city of Talin, Aragatsotn province
On July 10th the Minister of Nature Protection kicked off a strategy aimed at gradual reduction and eventual ban of single-use plastic. The strategy has two components. The first one focuses on piloting the implantation of green behavior in one community, and gauging the receptiveness of green policies and behavioral change.

Впервые в Армении охота на млекопитающих, кроме волков и шакалов, в сезон охоты не допускалась
Основываясь на предложениях директора Научного центра зоологии и гидроэкологии Национальной академии наук N2459-152 от 20 июля 2018 года, министр охраны природы Эрик Григорян подписал распоряжение об определении количества разрешений на охоту на 2018-2019 годы и условий охоты.
